People say "national healthcare isn't free, you pay for it with your taxes!" but they wouldn't say "Going for a walk isn't free, you pay for those roads and sidewalks with your taxes!"

People love to jump on the "it isn't free, you pay taxes" for all of these "welfare" things, but they're totally cool with state parks, sidewalks, and all sorts of other things that come out of our taxes. If you use the taxes argument, almost nothing is free.
