World War 2 was like any generic Hollywood sequel when compared to World War 1. The action scenes were more elaborate, the body count was bigger, the villian's were more blood-thirsty and ideological. It even set up the possibility of a trilogy with the cliffhanger introduction of Nuclear Weapons.
