According to the general media it seems like absolutely everyone has Twitter, yet I don't know a single person who uses Twitter.

Where is the disconnect here? Seems like that on both sides of the aisle, all news programs, satire news shows, articles, radio shows, etc all operate as though every American has Twitter. But I just don't know a single person who still has an account, let alone actively uses it.
