If Google Street View saves its old images it will one day be an amazing way to see what life was like in the past.

Imagine being able to see where you lived 50 years ago, well in 50 years people won't have to imagine. Google could filter it's maps by year so you could be like, I wonder what this place looked like in the 2010's and you would know.

Edit: Thank you for showing me that this feature already exists. I had no idea. I will become much more interesting as time goes on because the differences will become much more interesting.
